Fun with Photo Story
I love Photo Story! This little $20 app is a must-have, and I'd say so even if it weren't made by my employer, Microsoft. And you can try it for free here.
In about 10 minutes, I put together a slide show of some of my favorite Christmas memories. The latest version lets you burn the photo story to a CD-ROM, and watch it on most DVD players. I plan on sending out a bunch of these to family.

I would love it (btw for everyone else, this seems to be the same code available in the Xbox Music Mixer.).
BUT, there is a slight limitation which only allows for 100 pictures.
I took over 1400 pictures on my last vacation, so limiting my slideshow to 100 does not work well for me.
I just used Windows Movie Maker 2. Its not easy or fast, and there are still lots of bugs, but its free, and it supporsts hundreds if not thousands of images.

John you went everywhere this Christmas. How do you do it man? It’s probably one of those super abilities people who work at Microsoft have!

My wife has expressed a great interested in getting Plus-DME, however there is the minor problem that it's only available in the US, even if you try and buy it online. Same with Plus! for Windows XP.
Long have Microsoft promisied that these items would be available elsewhere in the world, but it's still not.
Poor marketing on Microsoft's part. They promote this product, even offering limited versions to get you intertested, then prevent you from buying it.
